When willpower alone isn't enough.
Like a running club. But for your savings.
This pilot explores whether structured accountability improves saving consistency.
The challenge isn’t knowing you should save. It’s saving consistently when life and spending get in the way.
The conventional response has been education - better tools, more information, clearer dashboards. That misses the point for many of us.
RISE applies proven behavioural science to the challenge of saving: accountability, structure, and a refundable deposit to encourage follow-through.
Small groups. Weekly 10-minute Zoom check-ins. £50 / $65 refundable commitment deposit. Returned in full on completion. If you don't complete, it is donated to a financial wellbeing charity. Weekly attendance is required to receive your deposit back.
Your target is privately set - progress reported simply as hit or miss in front of your cohort.
No financial advice. No budgeting lectures. Just the structure and accountability that makes consistent saving actually happen.
C1 is complete. Of those who finished, every participant achieved or exceeded their savings target. C2 is currently in progress.
Cohort 1 complete. Cohort 2 in progress. C3 begins August 2026
